Clean home. Healthy family.
It started with one dad who couldn't figure out why he felt so sick - and the science that finally explained it.
The story
For ten years, Warren Phillips studied toxic exposure for a living.
As a credentialed environmental scientist and consultant, he spent his days analyzing how heavy metals and everyday chemicals move through the body. He knew the research cold. And it still blindsided him.
Anxiety he couldn't shake. Insomnia. Weight that wouldn't budge. Hormones in freefall. Pain no one could explain. The expert on toxic exposure was quietly buried in it — inside his own home.
So he did what a scientist does. He went looking for the source.
What he found changed everything: the exposures aren't only in what we eat. They're in the air we breathe, what we put on our skin, and how we live day to day. Warren used what he knew to rebuild his own health, one change at a time.
That roadmap became a mission.
What we stand for
This isn't about perfection. It isn't about fear.
You don't need to gut your house, throw out everything you own, or feel guilty about the choices you made before you knew better. Nobody does.
Non-Toxic Dad exists to hand families a simpler idea: reduce your daily toxic load, one swap at a time.
Small, doable changes - the cleaner option instead of the default one - that add up over the years to a real difference for the people under your roof.
Science you can actually use. Explained in plain English. Never a lecture.
Why trust him
Warren Phillips, M.S., is a published environmental scientist and former environmental consultant who spent the first decade of his career studying heavy metals and chemical exposure, and human health.
He pairs that background with something the research alone never gave him: the experience of being the person in crisis, in his own kitchen, trying to get his life back.
That's the lens on everything here - credentialed enough to be right, human enough to be useful.
When the science is uncertain, we say so. You'll hear "linked to," not "proven to cause."
The goal is to inform your choices, not scare you into them.
The Movement
What began as one father's search has become a community of millions.
Today, Non-Toxic Dad reaches more than 40 million people every month, with over 1.3 million following along on Instagram and more than 100 million homes touched in just the past few years.
It's the book, Non-Toxic Living. It's the podcast. It's the daily swaps shared by parents who refuse to accept that "normal" and "healthy" are the same thing.
But mostly it's families — like yours — deciding to know better, so they can do better.

Meet Warren
Warren lives in Utah with his wife and three daughters, which is exactly why this work stays personal.
He isn't teaching families to protect their kids in theory.
He's doing it at his own dinner table, every night.
His mission is simple: empower the next generation to live clean, clear, and toxin-aware — and make sure no parent has to navigate a body in crisis alone.
Don't waste months guessing at what's making you feel off.
Warren spent years doing exactly that — an expert, in his own home, running out of answers. You don't have to.
Start with a testing kit to see what's actually showing up in your body and your environment. It's the fastest way to stop guessing and start making changes that are built for you — not a generic checklist.
Real data. A real starting point.
